Research Interests

• In situ measurements of the physical properties of materials (Earth minerals, metals, ceramics, semi/superconductors, nano-structured materials, BMG) at simultaneous high pressures and temperatures in different types of multi-anvil apparatus
• Development of novel techniques for the study of materials using acoustic and X-ray techniques
• Experimental study and thermodynamic modeling of phase equilibrium of Earth’s mantle
• Mineral physics constraints on the composition, origin of mantle heterogeneity, as well as seismic modeling of Earth’s deep mantle.
