Ultrasonics Group Participates in High Pressure Workshop at NSLS User Meeting
- National Synchrotron Light Source and Center for Functional Nanomaterials Annual User Meeting, May 19-21, 2008 at Brookhaven National Laboratory
- Workshop "Future Direction of High Pressure Research" took place on Wednesday, May 21.
- Ultrasonics Group Members Baosheng Li, Qiong Liu, and Matt Whitaker were workshop participants.
- Workshop focused on both current avenues of research at synchtrotron facilities, as well as looking forward to possibilities at new NSLS-II facility currently in planning stages.
- Matt Whitaker presented research results on his work on the room temperature, high pressure behavior of e-FeSi in a talk entitled "High Pressure Synchrotron and Ultrasonic Interferometry Study of e-FeSi"
